Terrible braces?

help me please!i got braces in sept. and have been trying to take care of them as best as i can. its just that they are falling out! i have avoided everything that im supposed to (crunchy, sticky, gooey, and chewy). every now and the a bracket will just fall out! my mom is getting upset and so is the orthadontist. i dont know how to fix this. any advice.
