Small, shedless, not to playfull?

hey im 14 and my parents are devorced. i live with my mom mostly but next year its gona be even. right now i see my dad somwhere from 1-4 days a week. i have a westie (west highland white terrier) at my mom's house and i love him to death! but its a little boaring at my dads appartment. he can only have small dogs(not like only chowowas but like only a foot long) and he is a neat freek so he wouldent like a shedding dog eather. i would love a peppy dog but to be quite frank i dont have the time. i also want a dog that will love me and kind of have the same emotions as me. my friend has a dog that it he's mad and walks off it will folo. so... if ur still reading then is there sutch a dog? would a yorki or a mini doxin work? and if u know of a dog would i want a boy or girl? iv herd i want a girl if i want it to bond with me but idk. plz help. o btw im a guy and when i say bond plz be mature. i hope u know i dont mean . plz help! o and ty
